OCTAVIAN SERBAN

Octavian SERBAN, Ph.D, is the coordinator of European Union Strategy for Danube Region, Integrated Territorial Investment for Danube Delta, and DANUBIUS – Research Infrastructure project, as Counsellor of the Minister within Ministry of European Funds, Romania.

He has a great expertise in regional development as a researcher and professor at Brussels School of International Studies and Academy of Economic Studies, more than one decade working in industrial development, productivity improvement, and implementation of Total Quality Management in Japan – Toyota Plant, in Detroit – Ford World Headquarters, and Ministry of Economy – Romania.

Since 2005, he is Certified Knowledge Manager at Knowledge Management Institute – USA.

Author of the book: “Managementul Cunoasterii – factor detrerminant in absorbtia fondurilor europene”, published at Editura Economica in 2014.
