The Afaceri.ro Trade Mission to Taiwan 2026 invites Romanian entrepreneurs, SME managers, and institutional representatives to connect directly with one of Asia's leading technology economies. Built around two of Taiwan's flagship trade and innovation events, the mission is designed as a focused, technology-oriented business experience, giving participants direct access to Taiwanese suppliers, inventors, and industrial partners.
The mission is anchored by the 2026 Taoyuan International Trade Meeting (22–25 September, Hyatt Regency Taoyuan Airport), a B2B platform organized under TAITRA that brings international buyers together with Taiwanese suppliers across multiple industries. Participants will hold structured B2B meetings with more than 220 Taiwanese companies, including over 40 from Information and Communications Technology (ICT), 34 in Precision Manufacturing & Industrial Components, 33 in Health Care and Beauty Products, 27 each in Clean Energy and Processed Food, 25 in Automotive Parts & Car Electronics, 21 in Light Vehicles and Unmanned Vehicle Components, and 17 in Factory Automation Machinery & Components — a broad spectrum of partners ready to establish commercial contacts and identify innovative products and solutions. For selected companies, the organizers provide accommodation and transport support, subject to the program's eligibility criteria.
Ahead of the trade meeting, participants can attend the Taiwan InnoTech Expo 2026 (TIE, 17–19 September, Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1). Now in its 22nd edition and formerly known as the Taipei International Invention Show and Technology Exposition, TIE showcases innovation across future technology — drones, wearable technology, and robots — alongside semiconductors, green and renewable energy, ICT, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food and beverages, advanced chemistry and materials, optoelectronics and flat-panel displays, mechanical and biomedical engineering, and design. With the rapid expansion of AI applications, the 2026 edition is expected to bring a higher concentration of breakthrough work to the international market.
Together, the two events position the Afaceri.ro Trade Mission to Taiwan 2026 as a strategic entry point into one of Asia's most advanced technology and manufacturing ecosystems, supporting long-term partnerships and sustainable international collaboration.
