Day 1

Travel to Japan

  • Delegation meeting at the airport (OTP).
  • Receiving the Afaceri.ro trade mission infokits.
  • Checking the last details before departure.
  • Flight Bucharest/Europe → Tokyo, via hub.

Day 2

Arrive in Tokyo

  • Landing in Tokyo.
  • Transfer to hotel & check-in.
  • Training: Japanese business etiquette — greetings (ojigi), business card exchange (meishi), invitations and dining protocol.
  • Free evening — recovery after the flight, first impressions of Tokyo.
  • Official Afaceri.ro dinner.

Day 3

Tokyo

  • Morning at Meiji Shrine + Omotesandō promenade.
  • B2B meetings & study visits in Tokyo (TBC).
  • Shibuya Crossing & Harajuku.
  • Evening at an izakaya in Shimbashi.
  • Training: Bushido — samurai principles applied to modern business.

Day 4

Tokyo

  • B2B meetings & study visits in Tokyo (TBC).
  • Shimokitazawa — bohemian neighbourhood, vintage shops, independent cafés.
  • Yanaka — one of Tokyo's best-preserved traditional districts.
  • Imperial Palace East Gardens.
  • Debate: how to transfer Japanese know-how to Romanian companies.

Day 5

Tokyo → Nagoya

  • Shinkansen Tokyo → Nagoya (≈1h40).
  • Arrival in Nagoya, hotel check-in.
  • Free evening — first exploration of Japan's largest industrial hub.

Day 6

Nagoya

  • Visit to Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology (TBC).
  • Training: Toyota principles — Kaizen, Monozukuri, lean production — applied in a business context.
  • Free evening in Nagoya.

Day 7

Nagoya → Gifu → Osaka

  • Local train Nagoya → Gifu (≈20 min).
  • Traditional Japanese swordmaking demonstration — Seki, the world capital of blades.
  • Gifu Castle — panoramic view over the Nagara River valley.
  • Kawaramachi quarter — preserved Edo-period townhouses, regional craft workshops.
  • Shinkansen Nagoya → Osaka (≈50 min). Arrival, hotel check-in.
  • First evening in Osaka: Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Namba.

Day 8

Osaka → Kyoto

  • Train Osaka → Kyoto (≈30 min).
  • B2B meetings & study visits in Kyoto.
  • Fushimi Inari Shrine — the alley of 10,000 vermillion torii gates.
  • Kiyomizudera Temple — UNESCO, panoramic views over Kyoto.
  • Gion & Higashiyama — the geisha district.
  • Return to Osaka in the evening.

Day 9

Osaka → Nara

  • B2B meetings & study visits in Osaka (TBC — morning).
  • Train Osaka → Nara (≈40 min).
  • Nara Park — sacred deer roaming freely.
  • Tōdai-ji Temple — the world's largest wooden structure, UNESCO.
  • Return to Osaka in the evening.

  • Return to Osaka in the evening by Shinkansen.

Day 12

Osaka

  • Full day at the delegation's disposal — business meetings, shopping, exploration.
  • Optional: Osaka Castle, Umeda Sky Building Observatory.
  • Special group dinner — farewell evening.

Day 13

Departure

  • Free time in Osaka.
  • Transfer to Kansai International Airport (KIX).
  • Flight Osaka (KIX) → Bucharest / other cities.

Day 14

Arrive in Romania

  • Arrival in Romania/Europe.
  • Farewell moment and mission closure.
  • Individual transfers to home cities.
