Call for Solution Providers: EEN Space Data & AI Challenges | 5th NEREUS European Symposium (Bologna, Italy)

Are you an SME, tech startup, or research center leveraging space data, Earth observation (Copernicus/Galileo), or AI? Present your solution directly to European regional public administrations facing concrete territorial challenges at the 5th NEREUS European Symposium in Bologna.

Opportunity Overview: European public administrations from NEREUS member regions have published 17 specific regional challenges requiring innovative solutions in space data, remote sensing, and Artificial Intelligence.

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Aerospace & Defence Sector Group is seeking tech companies and research providers to pitch their applications during dedicated Business-to-Government (B2G) matchmaking sessions in Bologna, Italy.

Key Challenge Categories:

  • Water & Resources (IDs #03–#05): Water resource management, quality monitoring, and pollution detection.
  • Urban & Energy (IDs #06, #07 & #13–#17): Night-light analysis, solar footprint mapping, urban heat islands, green canopy monitoring, and dark infrastructure.
  • Soil & Land Management (IDs #08–#12): Soil consumption, landslide monitoring, subsidence tracking, and forest health assessment.
  • Coastal Risks (IDs #01–#02): Coastal morphology tracking and risk mitigation.

Event Details:

  • Date: October 22–23, 2026
  • Location: DAMA Technopole, Bologna, Italy (In-person attendance required for matchmaking)
  • Target Audience: SMEs, tech startups, scale-ups, and R&D institutions in AI, Geolocation, Space Data, and Remote Sensing.
