DOMINIK PATZELT

Dr. Dominik Patzelt obtained his PhD in biology, focusing on bioprocess technology at the University of Hamburg in 2016. During his doctorate he worked at the biotech company Strategic Science Consult GmbH. SSC develops microalgae technologies for urban areas and operates the so called “BIQ – Das Algenhaus” with a bio-reactor facade covering 200 qm.

In 2017 he joined BIOPRO Baden-Württemberg GmbH as project manager and project lead of the Interreg Danube Transnational Programme project DanuBioValNet with 17 partners from 10 countries in the Danube region.

In 2018 Dr. Dominik Patzelt became head of the department Bioeconomy at BIOPRO Baden-Württemberg GmbH.
