ANDREAS WINKLER

Andreas Winkler is Italian. He studied Communications Sciences and worked for many years as a communications consultant – for small and large companies. His core business was and still is strategic communications, innovation management and business development.

Since 2008 he works as the Area Manager for Alpine Technologies into the TIS innovation park in Bolzano, South Tyrol (Italy) – from 2016 merged in IDM South Tyrol. IDM brings together know how and technologies from all over the world to South Tyrol’s companies and organizations. The IDM working methodology encompasses the continuous transfer of science and technology, networking, and product and market development, as well as the founding and establishment of innovative, technology-oriented companies.

As Head of Ecosystem in the IDM South Tyrol Andreas Winkler is in charge of coordinating the 9 Ecosystem/business networks of South Tyrolean Economy – based on RIS3-Strategy: “Alpine Technologies” – “Energy & Environment” – “Food Technologies – “ICT & Automation” – “Creative Industries”. His current core competencies: the transfer of know-how and technology, the activation of business networks, the development and optimization of products, business development and Go international activities.
