Payroll: • Communicating with Pay point regarding starters / leavers / transfers and promotions / allowances, and any other matters relating to pay/benefits; • Tracking ‘stepped increase’ schemes, and • Ensuring interim pay reviews have a sound business case and correct authorization, etc. Recruitment: • Effective management of recruitment processes (for temp and perm roles) : o posting job adverts, forwarding applications to line managers, o producing letters, arranging interviews, managing the offer process, ensuring recruitment costs are accurately logged, etc. • Taking part in interviews if required, • Providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates where appropriate. • Identifying any problems with the recruitment process (e.g. lack of applications, insufficient or incorrect information to place the job advert) and take steps / make recommendations to resolve such problems.
New Starter and Induction processes: • Ensuring appropriate new starter documentation is completed (offer letters are signed, references are taken, right to work checks, payroll paperwork); • Confirming arrangements for the first day, and for the corporate Induction.
